Services

Eidolon Therapeutic Counseling works with couples and individuals with challenges in communication, emotional road blocks and personal responsibility.  With a mindfully candid and nonjudgmental approach, ETC supports clients through conversations which provide an opportunity for reflection to consider meaningful steps toward future actions.

Empathy & Anger Mastery.

In individual sessions, the development of a trusting and healing relationship requires an openness to explore the past along with resolving present biopsychosocial dysfunction.  The goal is to always maintain and enhance your well-being while respecting your mental, emotional, behavioral and social functioning.

Relationship Skills Training (RST).

Informed by methods based on forty years of research, ETC's Relationship Skills Training (RST) is grounded in what actually works in happy and stable relationships.  Whereas couples therapy focuses mostly on resolving the anxieties of relationships, RST arrests idealistic notions of what relationships should be by, 1) encouraging active friendship building, 2) mindful communication and attentiveness, 3) truthful non judgmental expressions of feelings, 4) mutual respect and affection, and 5) better management of recurring conflicts. RST facilitates creative and meaningful skills for self determination, relationship cohesion, a progressive understanding of self goals and partnership values for improved interpersonal relationship dynamics.

Mens Issues: Race, Identity & Ethnicity.

ETC helps people of varied ethnic backgrounds who initially may not consider counseling as a potential solution to their behaviors or challenges.  In addition, we specifically accommodate African American, Hispanic and distinct ethnic men (and yes, women too), who hold stigmatizing beliefs on the benefits of individual, one-on-one counseling.

Creative & Specialized Vocations.

ETC has comprehensive experience assisting creative individuals employed in the visual and performing arts, with an understanding of the unique concerns and challenges facing the creative community.  ETC is also able to work with those professionals in high-risk occupations including military, public safety, and first responder positions.
