Fredrick Bush, LCSW is a licensed clinical therapist who established Eidolon Therapeutic Counseling, LLC in 2015. ETC is a private practice serving Black, Hispanic and people from varied ethnic backgrounds and customs. Fredrick employs culturally sensitive and mindful interdisciplinary methods and treatment approaches to create well-being for his clients. He specializes in helping individuals and couples enhancing their relationships through open and intimate disclosure. Men can benefit from discovering an optimal trajectory through better understanding of their inner selves.
Bush (as he is often referred to by his clients), has also served both first responders and creative individuals in the visual and performing arts as they deal with the ever-changing landscape of their professional lives.
Bush’s education began at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) where he continues as an adjunct professor in the School of Art and Design. He has been an award-winning graphic designer, art director, editorial artist, and production manager during his career at The New York Times, Newsday, The New York Daily News, and other media and design organizations.
After obtained his Bachelor of Science from Empire State College (SUNY), Fredrick earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University (NYU). His postgraduate work began at the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University, continued at Rutgers University, and finally California Southern University, School of Behavioral Science.
